Currently, Martin-Wonnacott is in the lead position and must drive a strong line to allow the drivers behind him to catch up. At the same time, he must also maintain a clean drift throughout the entire maneuver as any straightening, skidding or loss of multiple wheels can result in deductions or even zeros.
As a pursuer, there is only one goal: to catch up with the leader as much as possible without causing a significant collision. Additionally, good driving technique must be maintained to ensure that the leader cannot be caught directly.
Drifting competitions are a fantastic testing ground for evaluating a vehicle's overall performance and a driver's control techniques.
