Precautions For Tire Storage

May 12, 2023

1. The tires can be put into inventory after they have been received. They should be stored separately according to the tire specifications and types. Avoid heavy pressure, stacking, and stacking of tires during storage. They should be stored upright, and their fulcrums should be regularly rotated to prevent tire deformation and aging.

2. The tires should be stored in a dark room, avoid direct sunlight, and should not be stored in the open air to prevent the tires from aging. For short-term outdoor storage, cover with waterproof cloth.

3. Avoid getting close to generators, power switch boxes or other places with severe ozone.

4. Avoid high temperature away from heat sources to prevent rubber aging.

5. Avoid oil pollution, prevent tire rubber from expanding when exposed to heat, and not put it together with strong acids and alkalis that have volatile corrosive effects.

6. For vehicles that have not been used for a long time, the tires must be lifted off the ground, and the air pressure can be charged to 30% of the standard air pressure. The vehicle must be charged to standard pressure before restarting.

7. The inner tube can be stored flat for short-term storage. For long-term storage, it should be placed half-inflated on the storage rack. Folding storage and direct sunlight are not allowed.

8. Do not remove the protective ring before using the tubeless tire.
