I believe that many friends who have cars have heard the two names of four-wheel alignment and dynamic balance, but what exactly is dynamic balance? When do dynamic balances need to be done? It's really not clear. In fact, these two names are closely related to our daily car maintenance and car use. Today I am here to talk to my friends about the topic of dynamic balance. I hope it will be helpful to you.
What is dynamic balance?
We all know that the wheel of a car is a whole composed of tires and wheels.
In the process of wheel manufacturing, there will inevitably be uneven mass distribution. In other words, although the wheels look round, they are actually heavier in some places and lighter in some places. When the wheels of a car rotate at a high speed, it will form a dynamic unbalanced state, causing the wheels to shake and the steering wheel to vibrate during the driving of the vehicle, which affects the comfort and safety of the car. By increasing the counterweight, the unbalanced state of wheel rotation is corrected.
In order to avoid this phenomenon or eliminate this phenomenon that has already occurred, it is necessary to make the wheels correct the balance of each edge part by increasing the counterweight in the dynamic situation. To put it plainly, it is similar to our school. In order to maintain the balance, the pallet balance used in the experiment must be added with a counterweight (weight) on the other side so that the mass of the item can be weighed, but now the two sides of the balance are replaced by the two sides of the wheel. The process of correcting balance and adding weight is dynamic balance.
So what I said above is dynamic balance, I believe you still want to know, if the dynamic balance is abnormal, what problems will occur? When do you need to do dynamic balance If the dynamic balance of your car's tires is abnormal, it will cause additional wear on the steering and suspension of the tires, increase fuel consumption, and may also shake the steering wheel, which will greatly reduce driving comfort. If the following situations occur, your car needs to be dynamically balanced:
1. If your car shakes or the steering wheel vibrates when driving or turning
2. Those who have changed or repaired tires and wheels need to be dynamically balanced;
3. If the tire is removed and repaired, it must also be dynamically balanced.
All in all,as long as your car has been replaced and repaired the tire system, you need to do dynamic balance.
